Our team of reimbursement specialists has developed an efficient process that reduces your involvement, streamlines authorization and approvals, and ensures that eligible patients receive the most effective at-home treatment available to them.
Overview of Reimbursement Process
The process begins when you fax in a patient face sheet to 866–435–4948. We will then verify the patient’s insurance and email you and/or your local product specialist an appropriate order kit for that patient. The local product specialist will then contact you to gather the necessary information and follow the steps as outlined below:

- Patient information
- Patient consent
- Medical history

- Verify your patient's insurance benefits
- Submit a request to your patient's insurance company for coverage of the Flexitouch system
- Contact your patient's insurance company until a decision is reached

- Notify your patient of the insurance approval
- Discuss payment options for any co-pay responsibilities
- Ship the Flexitouch system to the patient and arrange a training session
- Bill your patient's insurance company
- Gather clinical information and review your patient’s insurance criteria to evaluate the case for appeal
- Contact your patient to discuss appeal and other payment options
